What is a commission piece ?

Think of Michelangelo! He lived mainly on commission works! On JF Gallery and without being a patron, you can ask an artist to create a work especially for you. It will not be more expensive than buying a work that has already been created.

When to commission an artist ?

You love a piece of work but it is much too big for your interior. You like the colours of a work already sold and you would like a work in the same style. Maybe you even want to have a portrait of someone you love by an artist whose style you like? There is not only one good reason to want a work on commission!

How does it work?

It may happen that you find your ideal artwork on JF Gallery, only to discover that it has already been sold. Fortunately, all is not lost! Most of our artists are more than happy to make you a custom piece.
